Kid's Connection Staff

We would like to tell you a little about ourselves…

Pam Torres (Miss. Pam) - Hi! My name is Pam and I am the director of Kid’s Connection. I am also the director of Kid’s Place, a teacher-recommended tutoring program here at FPC. I have lived in Fullerton pretty much my whole life. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications. I am married to my wonderful husband, David, and we have two children. Zach is a senior at Whittier Christian High School and my daughter, Becca, started her freshman year at Whittier Christian yesterday. Both my kids play basketball, so if I’m not working I’m usually in a gym somewhere watching them play. I work during the mornings at Anaheim High School as an instructional assistant in the special education department. As you can see I love working with children of all ages and all backgrounds!!

Jessica Kiger (Miss. Jessica) – I have had the privilege of being a part of Kid’s Connection as the Assistant Director. Although I graduated from Concordia University and received by B.A. in psychology, I have discovered that I enjoy working with children. The corporate environment in which I used to work did not provide such fulfillment. Working with each child at KC has proved to be a rewarding experience. I am looking forward to working with the returning students and getting to know all our new students this year.

I live in Fullerton with my husband, Travis. We do not have any children, but we did add a new addition to our family recently – a puppy!!

Patty Clardy (Miss. Patty) – This is my second year as lead teacher in the Kid’s Connection program. I have an AA degree in Liberal Studies from Fullerton College and currently enrolled at CSUF working on my B.A. and teaching credential. I am a proud aunt of four adorable nephews and a godmother to a sweet little 7 month old girl. I am always around children… the kids at Kid’s Connection eagerness to learn and the energy they have is the reason why I love coming to work everyday. I am looking forward to working many more years in this program!!
